Procter & Gamble will expand in Greensboro, NC investing $19 million and creating 25 new jobs, the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance said. The decision means that consumer-goods giant P&G will produce a new antiperspirant in the Triad, which was competing with another P&G facility in Massachusetts. The city of Greensboro had previsously approved up to $231,000 in incentives, while the Guilford County commissioners approved $248,000. P&G is also expected to get about $543,000 from the state in tax breaks. “P&G is one of the most admired companies in the world,” said Greensboro EDA President Dan Lynch. “Winning this new business is a wonderful opportunity for Greensboro and Guilford County to partner with the company as they grow. This is exactly the kind of advanced manufacturing technology that (we want) to flourish here.”
